Our Story

Great to have you here. My name is Wendy and my husband is Josh. We have always found it amazing how nature gives us everything and asks for so little. We have been nature enthusiasts always planning our next hiking trip with the kids and our 2 pups - Saphira Mae(with ball) and Marcus Aurelius(on snow). We want nature to be around forever and so when we went out to start this business we wanted to make sure we sourced our wood from logging companies that don't just take from the earth but give back and make sure more trees are around for many more lifetimes.​

How we got our name.... well...we had many ideas but those were mainly taken by other companies, just our luck right? I decided why not combine Wendy and Josh..that seems like maybe a good fit, everyone in Hollywood is doing it :) We didn't want to be cliche but it was what stuck and we liked how easy it was to say.

 

Our business. We started out thinking we would build all things wood but that turned into wanting to offer more items that were high quality and met our standard of quality. We started laser engraving services for almost everything. The laser engraving items turn out so beautiful and the lines are so clean. The laser we run is capable of a focal line at 0.06mm... to put that into perspective, a human hair is on average 0.12mm thick so this can do half of a human hair!
